Mike Kunde is the Senior Pilot and Senior Aircraft Airframe Mechanic for Hangar 46 at the San Luis Obispo County Airport, McChesney Field.

Mike is a friendly knowledgeable mechanic and Flight Instructor always willing to help out a fellow pilot, pilot-in-training, or mechanic-in-training. He has owned Hangar 46 since 1989 and been providing excellent and reasonably priced service to the aviation community since then.

Prior to 1989, Mike worked at Diablo Canyon Power Plant for several years. He holds a B.S. degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
